Newsletter – new rules with GDPR

Date: 24, May 2018
The EU's new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), enters into force on May 25, 2018. The regulations apply to all organizations that store or process personal information to EU / EEA citizens. This includes the Nordic Logistics Association.

The new rules affect all who send and receive newsletters in the EU / EEA area. The Nordic Logistics Association has adapted to the new regulations and we maintain the privacy requirements. We are using mailchimp.com to handle email lists and send out newsletters. The Nordic Logistics Association has also entered into a Data Processing Addendum with Mailchimp, to ensure that the information is stored in a good way. We will use the email list for our weekly newsletters and occasionally for invitations to our own events. We will not pass on your information to other companies or organizations.

By signing up for our newsletter, you agree that we will save your email address in Mailchimp. The Nordic Logistics Association sends out newsletters once a week. In our newsletter you find updates about the road transport sector, EU legislation and the Nordics.

After you sign up for our newsletter on our homepage, you will receive an email with a confirmation link. This link must be pressed to confirm that you wish to subscribe to the newsletter. You can sign up for our newsletter at any time. You can easily unsubscribe from our mailing list by clicking on the link on the bottom of our newsletter.
